Carlos Del Pino
In Polynesian tradition, water is life, a sacred force that carries memory, spirit, and ancestral wisdom. It is through the ocean that our islands are connected. It is through water that stories travel and healing flows.
To enter the water is to return to origin, to be cradled by something greater than the self.
At the Tahiti Yoga Festival, we are deeply honored to welcome Carlos Del Pino — a guide, healer, and movement artist whose life’s work is an offering to water.
Carlos’s path began at the age of five through the disciplined flow of Karate, igniting a lifelong devotion to body awareness, movement, and healing. This devotion expanded into the realms of Shiatsu, leading to his certification in 1999 with the European Shiatsu Professional Association — the beginning of a profound calling.
In 2004, the waters called.
Through Watsu®, Carlos found a way to merge his love of bodywork with the infinite intelligence of water. He became a WABA-certified Watsu® and Tantsu instructor, Shiatsu teacher, and Craniosacral practitioner — developing a deeply intuitive and creative style that honors the wisdom of the body and the rhythm of the breath.
His teachings are alive, shaped by years of learning and offering across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Each step has brought him closer to the spirit that moves through all things.
Now rooted in Polynesia, Carlos is profoundly influenced by Polynesian traditions — their ancient songs, dances, and the embodied memory of land and ocean. His years performing in the Heiva celebrations opened a deeper channel of connection, allowing the pulse of Polynesian culture to inform his movement and presence.
Whether through Watsu®, Tantsu or intuitive movement, Carlos holds space for deep reconnection — to emotion, to essence, and to the oceanic intelligence that lives within each of us.
Join Carlos Del Pino this October at the Tahiti Yoga Festival for conferences and workshops on the power of healing through water.
