Sylvie Geoffroy
Born in the coastal town of La Rochelle, France, Sylvie Geoffroy has always followed the call of movement — first through the precision and grace of classical ballet, then through the strength and discipline of high-level sport.
From the age of five, she trained at the conservatory, dreaming of the Paris Opera. A serious injury redirected her path, but not her passion. What could have ended her journey became a doorway to deeper purpose.
Through resilience and unwavering inner fire, she rose to the national stage at Miss Fitness France, blending artistry with athleticism. Yet even then, something deeper stirred — a longing for integration, for meaning beyond performance.
After moving to Tahiti, Sylvie devoted over 20 years to sharing her expertise as a sports coach, fitness educator, and physical trainer, guiding both elite athletes and individuals on a path of conscious movement. She holds the French State Diploma in Sports Education, is FITSPro-certified (ÉDUCA & EREPS, Switzerland), and trained in Garuda Yoga. Her method is deeply holistic, rooted in sport-health balance, injury prevention, and the sacred intelligence of the body.
With a Master’s degree in Marine Biology, Sylvie embodies a deep respect for nature and the intelligence of the living world — a sensitivity that is reflected in her approach to teaching and healing.
Her path eventually led her to Yoga of Energy, a deeply introspective and somatic form of yoga rooted in subtle awareness. She trained for four years at the EYE School in Évian, France, diving into a lineage that awakened something ancient and essential within her.
“Yoga revealed itself in my cells — not as something to learn, but something I had always known.”
Today, Sylvie offers a rich blend of experience that bridges performance, presence, and profound inner listening. Whether in the studio, by the ocean, or in nature, she guides others through movement as a path to wholeness.
“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” – Bhagavad Gita
